Privacy Policy for Progress Cam

The Short Version
We built Progress Cam to help you track your progress without worrying about your data. Your information stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don’t sell data, show ads, or lock you in. Simple as that.
What We Collect (and Why)
Your progress data
- The trackers you create and all the entries you log
- Photos you attach to your progress
- All stored securely right on your iPhone or iPad
Your iCloud backup
- Your data automatically backs up to your personal iCloud account for safekeeping
- This is encrypted by Apple, so only you can access it
- You control this in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → ProgressTracker
If you use chat (optional)
- Messages get stored on our backend
- They’re tied to your iCloud account
- You can delete them anytime in the app
Stats we track locally
- How many times you open the app
- Your XP and level progress
- Whether you have Pro (handled through Apple)
- All stored on your device, not our servers
What We Don’t Collect
- Your name, email, or phone number (unless you email us for support)
- Your location
- Device IDs or tracking pixels
- Your browsing history
- Biometric data (Face ID stays on your device)
How We Keep Your Data Safe
On your device: Your trackers live in a secure, encrypted database on your phone.
In iCloud: Data syncs through CloudKit directly to your iCloud. We never see it.
In chat: Messages are encrypted in transit and stored securely. Only you and our server can decode them.
Your Rights
You can:
- Export or view all your data in the app anytime
- Delete individual entries, whole trackers, or everything
- Turn off iCloud sync whenever you want
Who Else Is Involved
We use a few services to make the app work:
- Apple — For iCloud syncing and purchases
- Supabase — For the chat feature (optional)
